Plan better.

When you try to build a website without a plan, the cost will be much much higher than originally anticpated and the project may even be abandoned before completion.

When you shortcut the planning phase, you will most likely pay a lot more than originally anticipated because the lack of key information will create unforeseeable complexities. Of course, you cannot plan anything specific around unforeseeable complexities but every phase of your plan should have a budget to accommodate some unforeseeable complexities arising.

When you have a thorough and comprehensive plan for your project, you will have the best chance of keeping things at or under budget and managing everyone’s expectations around timelines. Milestone deadline dates have a much better chance of being reached when all stakeholders review and understand the plan.
